Supervision for qualified and trainee counsellors

I have a certificate in Clinical Supervision through an Intersectional Lens, and I’m working towards my diploma. Both qualifications are aligned to the BACP supervision framework.

I am an approved supervisor for the Metanoia Institute’s BSC in Person-Centred, Pluralistic Counselling.

My supervision modality is person-centred, founded on the core conditions of empathy, congruence and unconditional positive regard. Our joint endeavour is the client work; creating a relationship that pays close attention to your clients’ needs and safety, and your development as a counsellor/therapist.

I work from an intersectional lens, holding in mind political, historical and social contexts across theory, process and practice and taking into account themes of difference, power, privilege and oppression.

It is important to me that we work together as colleagues, respectful of each other’s transcultural journey and that of the clients you bring to supervision.

I have a strong background in safeguarding and risk management and can provide you with a space to explore risk and safety in your work, in an empathic, non-judgemental and holding environment.
